Red Ridge's Sweet Isabella, North Carolina

Izzy came to us from North Carolina and arrived on Saturday February 2, 2008.   We are looking forward to her show potential!   Izzy's mom Sky is from Kiraleea Kennels in Wisconsin and her father Yoshi Is from California.  Izzy loves to run and play with the kids and they have so much fun together.  We're very fortunate to have her come to live with us.  Truly can't wait to get her into the show ring!  Of course as spring/summer came Izzy blew her undercoat and I have been unable to show her yet... I'm hoping to show her this winter.

i_butterfly_spink.gif Izzy is truly a wonderful addition to our family. She loves the neighborhood kids and love my youngest daughter, probably because she's constantly taking her out for walks.  We have a good deal of fun with Izzy, she went out on the boat with us and she enjoyed her time out there too.  Izzy is a riot at times as she loves to play, with balls, toys etc. She does like shoes too though, especially flip flops!

On September 8, 2008 Izzy had her first litter of puppies!  She truly is a great mama dog, she had 2 boys and 2 girls, wow what a litter she had too - two smaller pups and 2 bigger pups!  Our littlest was Sammie who is now in Idaho with her new family - and doing great.  She'll be petite like her mama.  The littlest boy, Yuki, went to Colorado to live and has some great show potential, can't wait to see how he does!  Ausra was our biggest girl and she went to live with my brother in Kansas, and big boy went to Michigan where he is having a blast with his new family!  Can't wait to see Izzy back in her full coat again!!!  Hope its all back by January when the shows start up again!  She's such a gorgeous dog when she's in coat : )

Izzy is such a sweet and personable dog, she really is such a lover and when the opportunity came for her to go live with my good friend Jet here in New Braunfels, where she'd be back in the country and have more room to run we jumped at it.  She's in a home with 2 humans, a cat, and lots of dear that roam the property.  There are grandchildren too so she has lots of interaction with lots of people and animals and she goes on lots of  walks too.  The neighborhood kids have fallen in love with her and so has Jet and David.  Jet had been wanting one of my dogs for years but knew she didn't want to do the puppy stage again so this worked out for the best for everyone... Izzy gets to be an only dog and gets extra attention, she's such a lap dog and I can still show her and see her whenever we want... so we kinda joint own her now.

UPDATE...

Izzy is doing wonderful living with her new family!  Jet and David are doing great things with Izzy girl!  Izzy is loving life to say the least, she gets a daily walk and gets to run on nearly 3 acres worth of land, just what she needed!!!  They have put an invisible fence in so they wouldn't loose any of their views and allow Izzy more room to run.  The only complaint is the colar device is so large and Izzy is so small ; )  Overall the transition is going very well, Izzy loves to sleep on their bed with them and loves David very much... in fact when Jet is getting ready for work Izzy takes her place in bed and only opens an eye to watch her get ready.  Oh yeah, she's loving it there!   Izzy's favorite thing to do it tear the stuffing out of all her toys along with the squeakers!  So needless to say the stuffing is everywhere, oh how I know that feeling, Jasna is the same way! Here are a few photo's of her in her new place.

Izzy girl came to visit us in early May and again over the Memorial Day weekend... we had some good fun while she was here too : )  Jasna is my alpha female however and Izzy is the alpha female in her home so two alpha females together has been an interesting combination!  I have found myself using many of Ceaser Milan's techniques with them!!!  Not sure who was more excited to see her Kelsi or Jordan ; )  When Izzy came for the Memorial Day weekend she was like hello let me in I'm home... it was very cute.  When I answered the door she ran in and onto Wes' lap no warning, it was hillarious!  Here are a few photo's of her visits enjoy!
